Haxhi Zeka Biberaj themeloi “Lidhjen Shqiptare të Pejës”
Haxhi Zeka Biberaj është shembull për besimtarët, shembull për atdhetarët, shembull për të gjithë shqiptarët… Lindi në vitin 1832, në Shqiperi katundin Shoshan, të Krasniqës, rrethi i Tropojës, Malësia e Gjakovës. Emri i tij është Zenel, ndërsa Haxhi, Hoxhe, Myderriz, Mulla janë titujt e tij te asaj kohe. Mësimet e larta i kreu në Medresën e Madhe të Gjakovës Haxhi Zeka Biberaj eshte djali i Mehmet Biberajt i cili ishte djali i Abedinit, që ishte djali i Hysenit, burra të Njohur nga Shoshani i Tropojes, Malsisë, parardhësit e Haxhisë, që ia zbardhi faqën kombit Shqiptare. Haxhi Zeka fëmijërinë e kaloi në Pejë të Kosovës, sepse që në vitin 1835, familja e tij ishte shpërngulur nga Tropoja, Malsia e Gjakovës… Mësimet fillestare i kreu në Pejë. Si nxënës një fëmijë i dalluar, për virtyte, për cilësi, aq sa të gjithë e kishin lakmi…Një ditë, Hoxha i tij publikisht kishte thanë: ”Kur të rritet ky djal ka me ba namin Shtatë kralat kanë me ja ni zanin…”
Sot Haxhi Zek Biberaj nihet e rrespektohet ne cdo cep te botes nga kombi Shqiptare.

Në fillim Haxhi Zeka Biberaj ka shërbyer si mesues hoxhë, imam, mësues, dhe në administratën lokale si nëpunës dhe sekretar i pronës së familjes shumë të pasur, Sheremeti të Pejës, por që janë me prejardhje nga katundi Sheremetaj i Gjakovës… Haxhi Zeka (Haxhi Zejneli, 20 dhjetor 1832 – 21 shkurt 1902) është udhëheqës i shquar i Lëvizjes Kombëtare Shqiptare, luftëtar dhe organizator i kryengritjeve popullore antiosmane në Kosovë. Nga Gjakova prej nga u shpërngul me familjen në Pejë. Ishte një nga organizatorët kryesore i Lidhjes Shqiptare të Prizrenit dhe një nga luftëtarët më të vendosur për autonominë e Shqipërisë dhe mbrojtjen e tërësisë së saj territoriale. Në Kuvendin e parë të Lidhjes, më 10 qershor 1878, u zgjodh anëtar i Komitetit Qendror të saj. Mori pjesë, si komandant ushtarak, në krye të forcave të Lidhjes në aksionin e Gjakovës, në shtator 1878 kundër Mehmet Ali Pashës. Krahas udhëheqësve të tjerë politikë e ushtarakë të Lidhjes luftoi në fund të 1879-ës dhe në fillim të 1880-ës për mbrojtjen e Plavës dhe të Gucisë kundër forcave të Malit të Zi. Në pranverën e vitit 1881 mori pjesë në betejat kundër ushtrisë së Dervish pashës. Së bashku me Sulejman Vokshi e Kadri Bjari. Haxhi Zeka më 1884-1885 udhëhoqi kryengritjet antiosmane të shqiptarëve të Kosovës, që synonin të rimëkëmbnin Lidhjen dhe të vinin në jetë idetë e saj autonomiste. Më 1893. Haxhi Zeka me Bajram Currin organizuan kryengritjen që përfshiu Pejën, Gjakovën e vise të tjera të Kosovës kundër dhunës ekonomike e politike të sunduesve osmanë. Për veprimtarinë e tij atdhetare, më 1893 u thirr ne Stamboll ku u mbajt i arrestuar deri në vitin 1896.
Më 1896-1900 u vu në krye të luftës së popullit shqiptar për autonominë e Shqipërisë dhe mbrojtjen e tërësisë territoriale të vendit. Udhëhoqi qëndresën e armatosur popuIlore që shpërtheu në Kosovë në vitin 1897 dhe themeloi “Besëlidhjen shqiptare”(1897). Në bashkëpunim me Komitetin Shqiptar të Stambollit të kryesuar nga Sami Frashëri dhe atdhetarët e tjerë brenda dhe jashtë atdheut, Haxhi Zeka organizoi më 23-29 janar 1899 Kuvendin e Pejës që themeloi Lidhjen Shqiptare të Pejës dhe u zgjodh kryetar i Komitetit të saj. Në prill-maj 1899 mori masat për thirrjen e një Kuvendi tjetër të përgjithshëm të Lidhjes Shqiptare mbajtja e të cilit u pengua nga Porta e Lartë. Pa marrë parasysh kundërshtimet e Stambollit dhe pengesat e Fuqive të Mëdha e të qarqeve shoviniste fqinje, Haxhi Zeka i vazhdoi përpjekjet për forcimin e Lidhjes gjatë gjithë vint 1900 derisa ushtria osmane e shtypi atë.

Poeti kombëtar, At Gjergj Fishta, vetë prift katolik, françeskan, por për këtë hoxhë, që luftoi vatan, për bashkim, për liri, për Shqipni, ndër të tjera, shkruen në këte poezi:
”Dil e piqu n’Haxhi Zekën Grish Kosovën, bashko Rekën Lsho kushtrimin n’Toskë e Gegë Mblidhu tok si kokrrat n’sheg…”
Ndërsa në një këngë popullore me titull:
NA KTI VENI DUHET M’I DALË ZOT Kushtuar, Haxhi Zekës N’grykë t’Pejës, more, u dhez rrfeja Shqiptarisë, more, ju forcue beteja. N’kam na u çue, o vëllazën, Haxhi Zeka, Nisi fjalë, more, shqiptarëve po u man: – Ngoni knena, o vllazën shqiptarë, N’kit ven juve o qi u kam marrë, N’kit ven juve o qi u kam thirrë; Fjalë me dhanun, besa-Besëb me lidhë. Për me lidh-o ni Besë të Zotit, M’i dal n’ball, more, o anmikut t’sodit si n’kohën e Gjergj Kastriotit. Na kti veni duhet m’i dalë zot; Dy syt, more, ju mbushën me lot. Atëherë Isa koka çue n’kam: – Ngo mor Zekë, unë çka po t’tham, I madh e i vogël, tanë n’kam m’u çue, Për tokë tonë kena me liftue, Me derdh’ gjakun, more, bash si prrue! Kem m’u kallë tan’, more, si cigare, s’kem me lanë anmik n’tokë shqiptare! Fort u gzue, more, trimi Haxhi Zekë Nxuerr alltin, more, paj qiti përpjetë: – Ktu koftë lidhë, more vllazën, Besa-Besa. E na u nisën trimat, more, çeta-çeta, shkon t’u pri, more, trim-o Haxhi Zeka.
Haxhi Zeka o ni zog shqiptari O për Kosov’ o n’luftë ma i pari.
Për veprimtarinë e tij për bashkim, për liri, për një Shqipni, Hoxhë Haxhi Zeka u arrestue dhe për disa vjet në Stamboll u internue, por edhe pas lirimit prej internimit nuk u qetësue, nuk u rehatue, ai vazhdoi me luftue, deri në Mal të Zi, për Plavë e për Gusi… Haxhi Zeka, përveç se ishte dijetar, atdhetar, luftëtar, ishte humanist, bamirës, besimtar…Si besimtar, ka vizituar Qabenë, vendet shenjta, Mekkën dhe Medinën, në Arabi, ku e fitoi edhe titullin Haxhi. Me titullin Haxhi, emri i tij hyri në histori… Më 21 shkurt 1902 Hoxhë Haxhi Zeka u vra në Pejë pabesisht nga Adem Zajmi, një agjent i vënë nga qarqet shoviniste serbe.
Haxhi Zeka Biberaj i njohur si Shqiptari me i pasur ne ate kohe nuk kursej asgje per kombin Shqiptare.
Pamvarsisht se Haxhi Zeka nuk la djeme, trazhgimtare ai la nje veper legjendare, ai la nje pasuri toke qe sot gezojne e punojne me mijra Kosovare.
Tropoja eshte krenare per birin e saj Haxhi Zeke Biberin, Ne dhe mijra te tjere nipa, mbesa, familja Biberaj, jemi te lumtur qe Gjaku i Haxhi Biberajt eshte ne trupin tone.

Albanian Minerals: Stainless steel production to hit 40 million tons in 2012

Global stainless steel at all-time high of 35 million tonnes in 2011
Global stainless crude steel production in the ten months of 2011 reached an all-time high .

The highest stainless steel production year-on-year growth was 18%  in China   .
The  Europe and Africa region increased  stainless steel production by 6.4% .

The Americas  has a increase of stainless steel production of 6.9% .
Albanian Minerals President and CEO said ” I  expect stainless steel production to hit 40 million tons in 2012 “.

According to Albanian Minerals CEO  the stainless steel industry has left the  global crisis behind as production reached a new record of 32.2 million tonnes in 2010 .
The surprisingly high volume results from a stronger than expected production China and India .
 
Albanian Minerals CEO  said “Surging demand and prices is expected for chrome ore, ferrochrome used in making ferroalloy, which in turn is used in making stainless steel”.

The low prices of chrome ore ha led to a severe shortage of  global chromite production in 2011.
Such supply condition may drive up prices of ferrochrome and chrome ore in 2012.
Also chrome ore shortage in China is expected as  Zimbabwe has banned the export of chrome ore.

The concerned over the depleting reserves of chrome ore in India the steel ministry has demanded a complete ban on chrome ore exports.

The winter conditions  allow mining of chromite to be conducted only from May to  November in open pit mining this will effect the global chrome ore production.

Ferrochrome production for metallurgical applications uses up more than 90% of the worlds chrome ore.
South Africa accounts for about 50% of global chromite, chrome ore production, followed by Kazakhstan, India, Turkey ,Albania and Zimbabwe .

Albanian Minerals President and CEO  said “The government’s in South Africa, India, Zimbabwe  had been petitioned  by local ferrochrome producers to halt the export of raw chrome ore to China”.

China is  importing the raw chromite ore from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Turkey, Albania and India in very low prices and using it to produce ferrochrome itself.

Zimbabwe has banned the export of chrome ore. India has huge domestic demand for chrome ore in the future.

South Africa may impose export duties and other controls to stop a surge in chrome ore sales to China so local ferrochrome makers can stay competitive, the head of Merafe Resources Ltd. (MRF) said.

South African producers of ferrochrome, made from chrome ore, have hired independent consultants to investigate the industry, and a report with proposals to control exports will be submitted to the government by the end of September.

Chinese ferrochrome output rose 12 percent to 1.2 million metric tons in the year to June, compared with 0.1 percent growth to 1.85 million tons in South Africa

China doesn’t have reserves of chrome ore and is planing to be  the world’s largest ferrochrome producer by 2015.

Albanian exports rose by 38 percent from January to April.

Albania exported more, metals,  petroleum , footwear and textiles.
Albania exports totaled to 478 million euro for the January-April 2011, from 347 million in the same period 2010.

Exports of energy and base minerals increased by 55 per cent this year as commodity prices jumped in the international market.
Energy and minerals contributed to 31 per cent of the country’s total exports.

The share of construction materials and metals in exports increased this year to 22 per cent from 18 per cent this year due to increased exports of cement.
